A short film about the Sunrise Cash Cow is a finalist in Tropfest, screened on SBS in February, 2013. Ca$h Cow – a 63% True Story is written, produced and starring Sunrise staffer Adam Dunn, who has greeted guests, made coffee for the Sunrise presenters, and danced around in the Cash Cow suit for the last two years (what, and give up show business?) He had to pull in a lot of favours to make the 7-minute short film, including convincing David Koch and Melissa Doyle to make a cameo appearance. "Kochie and Mel were really open to the idea from the get-go. They improvised really well and were really good sports. It wouldn’t surprise me if Hollywood came knocking," he said.
Alongside Adam can be seen Aaron Glenane (upcoming film Drift) and Stephen Hunter (The Hobbit).
