'PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK' ROCKS BERLIN FILM FESTIVAL
  20 Febr 2018

It's one of the most anticipated series of the year and Picnic At Hanging Rock has not disappointed audiences it's Berlin Film Festival world premiere. Playing to a sold out 850 seat theatre, the series received a standing ovation with the brilliant Larysa Kondracki (director), Natalie Dormer (Mrs. Appleyard), Lily Sullivan (Miranda Reid), Ruby Rees (Edith Horton), Lola Bessis (Mademoiselle Poitiers) and Harrison Gilbertson (Michael Fitzhubert) in attendance. I'm absolutely thrilled to be bringing you Reginald Lumley alongside the incomparable Yael Stone in this ground breaking and very special series coming to Foxtel May 6th.

"This new version, is a simmering nightmare drenched in lush color, energetically shot with a propensity for psychologically unsettling Dutch angles, and powered by a surging contemporary score."https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/picnic-at-hanging-rock-berlin-2018-1086459

“There’s magic to this. It feels like the spirit of Joan Lindsay is with us. There is something transcendental. That’s what Larysa created – a touch of fairy dust.” - Natalie Dormer http://variety.com/2018/tv/news/picnic-at-hanging-rock-natalie-dormer-larysa-kondracki-1202704572/

"This is a crazier, full throttle, more literally colourful dream, brightness and contrast cranked through the roof...And hot damn, the show looks amazing. It’s a blast to watch it teeter on the brink between atmospheric excellence and stylistic overkill." - Luke Buckmaster https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2018/feb/14/picnic-at-hanging-rock-first-look-full-throttle-reboot-of-an-australian-classic

"FROM the dazzling, colour-saturated first frame of Foxtel’s ambitious reimagining of Picnic At Hanging Rock, this original, world-class production is quite literally, gold. This remarkable six-part TV drama takes extraordinary risks — from experimental camera angles and a soaring soundtrack, to costumes and cinematic styling that, at times, takes the viewer down the rabbit hole, Alice In Wonderland style." - Holly Byrnes http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/tv/first-review-picnic-at-hanging-rock-is-dazzling/news-story/fdcb0b83f119b43a874d6171a4d4dcc1

'MR INBETWEEN' SUNDANCE 2018 REVIEW
  25 January 2018

I'm thrilled to feature as the role of Matt in Scott Ryan and Nash Edgerton's MR INBETWEEN which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Set to be released later this year as FX Australia's first production through Foxtel, the series received a great response from The Hollywood Reporter.

"Edgerton has already proven himself extremely gifted at blending fairly extreme violence with humor, and that carries over here. Especially in the third of three half-hour episodes screened at Sundance, Edgerton wrings laughs out of very dark situations without jeopardizing the gravity of Ray's job or his apparent anger management issues."

'SILENT NIGHT' REVIEWS
  17 November 2017

SILENT NIGHT is a hilarious take-no-prisoners comedy for anyone who feels a mix of terror and affection about spending Christmas with family. Normally Christmas is a time for giving, but for the Lickfold family it’s a time for winning! Tired of consumerism, overeating and fake family bonding? Then Silent Night is the perfect antidote to those Christmas blues.

Season runs from 10th November - 10th December 2017.
Book tix: http://www.darlinghursttheatre.com/whats-on/silent-night

"Rising star, Aaron Glenane, plays Rodney, the Lickfold’s only son. At 33 years of age, he is the stay-at-home adult that all parents fear. Glenane seems at home in this truly odd character. His personality is given a slow reveal, but the devilish gleam in his eyes as he unleashes his true identity is worth the lengthy build. And his hover-board skills are beyond impressive." - http://arts.theaureview.com/reviews/theatre-review-silent-night-brings-an-early-dose-of-christmas-cheer-until-10th-december/

"Bishop's take on a mum of the well-meaning but damaging suburban ilk is spot-on. She’s well-matched with Glenane’s Rodney, whose thousand-yard stare and Machiavellian grin is used to great effect in the second act (there may be a Segway involved)." - https://www.timeout.com/sydney/theatre/silent-night

"Glenane is a perfect pairing for Bishop, finding all that’s ridiculous in the sullen, absurdly coddled, and ferociously narcissistic Rodney." - https://dailyreview.com.au/silent-night-review-darlinghurst-theatre-company-eternity-playhouse/68166/

"As the son Rodney, Aaron Glenane...manages to make indolence and aberration watchable. It is in the second act that his performance really shines... His man boy is in his element here and there is a real zest in his later Rodney." - http://www.sydneyartsguide.com.au/silent-night/
