It's that time of year again and we'd just like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU for all your support for Aaron and the team this year. It's been a big 2014. From Summer Bay in Home and Away to Gallipoli in Deadline Gallipoli, from the intimate two hander play Gruesome Playground Injuries to acting alongside powerhouses Robert Redford and Cate Blanchett in Truth, it's been an exciting year to say the least. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We look forward to sharing with you some exciting news Aaron has in store at the beginning of 2015!
Aaron has been given the nod for his performance as Doug in Gruesome Playground Injuries as one of the Best Comedic Performance's of 2014 as reviewed by Suzy Goes See. Aaron and his co-star Megan McGlinchey were also in the Top 10 Show's of the Year. Directed by Anthony Gooley and produced by The King's Collective this was an amazingly well received show, playing to sold out performances for the majority of the run. Gruesome's synopsis is as follows. Over the course of 30 years, the lives of Kayleen and Doug intersect at the most bizarre intervals, leading the two childhood friends to compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together.

Aaron is currently filming 'Truth' alongside Robert Redford (Captain America, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) and Cate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine, The Monuments Men). In Truth, based on Mary Mapes’ memoir, Truth and Duty, Redford plays veteran CBS newsman Dan Rather while Blanchett plays Mapes, his producer. The film centers on the firestorm that erupted in September of 2004 after Rather reported that George W. Bush had received special treatment while serving in the Air National Guard during the Vietnam War. It marks the directorial debut of James Vanderbilt (writer of The Amazing Spider Man 1 and 2, Zodiac). The films also stars Elisabeth Moss, Topher Grace, Dennis Quad and Bruce Greenwood.

Aaron attended last night's Sydney premiere of Christopher Nolan's (The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception) INTERSTELLAR at IMAX Darling Harbour. Local celebrities turned out for the film which stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain.

For all you Home and Away fans out there we've compiled all of Aaron's scenes as Cody Dalton for you to watch in one go. Check out all the wheeling and dealing he gets Andy Barret caught up in, his plans with Jake Pirovic and of course the trouble he gets the Braxton's into. We'll be curious to see if Cody rears his head again in Summer Bay. In the meantime, enjoy!
Aaron and the 'Gruesome Playground Injuries' team have come away with a brilliant review of their production. Keep an eye out here for some more exciting news to come...
"Doug is played by Aaron Glenane, whose magnificence in the role cannot be overstated. His authenticity is immediate and thorough, and whether performing slapstick or catastrophe, he always remains believable and compelling. The brightness of the actor's energy gives the stage a liveliness that captivates us, and his warm presence creates a likability in his character that holds our empathy from scene one to the end. Glenane is perfect in the part, and his work here is impeccable." - Suzy Goes See
